Senior Graphic Designer

We’re looking for a Full-time Graphic Designer to join our team.

About the role

Bright Light Marketing is looking for a talented and motivated Full-Time Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing team in Mackay.

This is a hands-on creative role working across a diverse range of clients, industries and projects. No two days are the same, with the opportunity to work on everything from branding and print advertising to digital campaigns, social media, websites, signage, billboards, video and marketing collateral.

Key responsibilities

Designing premium marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, capability statements, project marketing material, billboards, newsletters and presentations
Developing brand identities, visual systems and supporting brand collateral
Creating branded digital assets for social media, digital advertising, EDMs and online campaigns
Maintaining and applying brand guidelines consistently across multiple clients, projects and businesses
Helping guide the visual direction of campaigns, communications and new business initiatives
Designing signage, billboards and other physical brand applications
Designing website concepts, landing pages and digital layouts using Figma
Preparing finished artwork and managing print production requirements
Liaising with printers, signage contractors, web developers and other creative suppliers
Supporting photo, video and content shoots through shot planning, filming, art direction and asset selection

About you

A minimum of three to five years of professional graphic design experience
A degree or formal qualification in graphic design, visual communication or a related discipline
A sophisticated portfolio demonstrating professionally produced print, brand and digital work
Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong capability across the broader Adobe Creative Suite
Demonstrated experience designing brochures, editorial layouts, brand systems, presentations and campaign collateral
Experience creating branded assets for LinkedIn, Instagram, EDMs and digital advertising
Experience designing websites and digital layouts within Figma, Framer or similar platforms
Knowledge of print production, finished artwork and supplier coordination
The ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines within a fast paced agency environment
